Home for a Writer
Building R
The Arts and Humanities Division has received a generous donation to establish a Writer in Residence program. The donation stipulated that the writer would be housed on the college’s campus. The college has decided to convert the lounges on the east end of Building R into this residence. The Department will provide the writer a place to write, private living space, and a public salon.
As the designer of this residence, you will interview the Division Chair of the Arts and Humanities Division. As a designer it is important to guide the client in discovering their needs and desires. Be sure to address all functional issues as well as emotional and intellectual concerns.
