This research trip is part of a class called GBUS 280 Advanced Studies in International Business.  GBUS 280 is a research class comparing U.S. business practices with their global counterparts.  Each year we travel to a different part of the world to conduct international business research.  Our spring 2009 class will focus on SE Asia.

While in SE Asia we will be traveling to Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam.The first part of your research trip in each is highly structured and designed to get you comfortable with the local environment.  During this time you will become more familiar with local culture and transportation systems.  The second half of your stay in each country will focus on completing your business research project.

Instructor permission and successful enrollment/completion of INST 150 International Business are pre-requisites for this class.  INST 150 can be accepted to the UW as a transfer class.  To sign up, go to www.eftours.com and type in the group # 543312.  The current base program fee is about $3200.  Students can sign up for the trip now to take advantage of the lower rates and installment payment plan.  Please contact EF Tours for details.
