In order to more fully serve adults who lack basic skills or English proficiency, the mission of the Volunteer Literacy Program is to provide quality, well trained and oriented tutors to support all instructional and some non-instructional aspects of the Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, and General Education Development programs on the BCC campus and in the community.
