The Bellevue College women’s tennis team wrapped up their regular season with two wins over the weekend, much needed as they head for Spokane the weekend of May 10-11 for the NWAACC Tennis Championships. The Bulldogs hosted Treasure Valley on Friday, May 3, and beat the visitors 8-1. Then, on Sunday, May 5, Bellevue traveled to Shoreline for matches that had been rescheduled due to rain earlier in the season, and also took an 8-1 win over the Dolphins. Bellevue finished the season with a 6-2 record, and #1 player Rixing Xu finished the season with an astounding 12-0 record in singles, never losing a set. Coach Jason Chapman believes this is a first for his #1 players, especially since they play a lot of four-year schools!
