Men’s Soccer Becomes Offensive in Two Wins Over Tacoma and South Puget Sound

Bellevue College’s men’s soccer team won two games last week with high-powered offense, netting five goals in between the two wins (Wednesday October 2 4-2 win at Tacoma and Saturday October 5 3-1 win vs. South Puget Sound). Newcomer Hiro Nakasuji had the winning goal in the 61st minute in the win at Tacoma. David Lovas had an assist and goal as well.

The Bellevue College men’s soccer team was in action at home on Saturday, Oct. 5, against South Puget Sound CC. After a scoreless first half that saw the Bulldogs hold most of the possession, South Puget Sound scored in the first few minutes of the second half. However, Bellevue responded well and scored three times over a ten minute span to earn its second win in a row. Sebastian Ruesch found the equalizer for the Bulldogs in the 67th minute on a great ball over the top from Eduardo Pelayo. David Lovas netted the game winner just three minutes later and Ruesch added his second of the game in the 76th minute to put the game out of reach and secure the victory. The Bulldogs are in action again on Saturday, Oct. 12, against unbeaten Peninsula College at the Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila, WA at 3 p.m.
