Bellevue College’s women’s soccer team showed they can contend for the conference championship after taking number two-ranked Peninsula College down to the wire, losing 1-0 in the final minute of the game. Ali Mackey recorded 13 saves in goal; keeping the door open for an upset until the very end. The loss puts Bellevue at 5-3-2 (third in the region). Bellevue will now play on Wednesday October 16 at Highline (1PM start at Starfire Complex in Tukwila) and Saturday October 19 at Olympic at 12:00PM.
