BC Baseball Coach Kevin Miller to be Honored at University of Washington Baseball Stadium Opening

Bellevue College Baseball Associate Head Coach Kevin Miller has been chosen as one of a handful of former University of Washington standouts to throw out the ceremonial first pitch during the grand opening of Husky Ballpark; the 15 million dollar facility that will open it’s doors for the first time this Friday, March 21 as the Huskies host the 2012 NCAA champion Arizona Wildcats.

One player from each decade has been chosen by UW officials to be honored as one of the most dominant players in their decade as a Husky. Miller has been selected to represent the 1990’s. He was an All-American as he led the Huskies to the NCAA regionals. Miller has already been inducted into the UW Athletic Hall of Fame and is a member of the All-Century Team. The first pitch ceremony will begin at approximately 5:15 pm.
