Bellevue College Baseball split a doubleheader vs. Skagit Valley on Monday April 28 by scores of 3-0 and 10-0. In game one, Bellevue’s offense could not generate a run the entire game as Skagit’s offense benefited from walks and hit batters by Bellevue pitching to sneak away with a 3-0. The big inning by Skagit was aided by two walks, an error, and a hit batter which was all Skagit needed for the win. In game two, Brady Kerr belted his second home run of the year and had three hits along with Nick Pribble to lead Bellevue to a 10-0 win that ended early due to the run limit rule. John Bodenhamer had a bases-loaded double that cleared the bases that was also a key hit for Bellevue. Two pitchers, Alex Hatch and Aaron Sandefur, coming off minor injuries returned for Bellevue and combined for the shutout. Hatch, who has recently committed to pitch at the University of Hawaii next year, scattered five hits in 4 2/3 innings of work. Bellevue now takes on Douglas College this weekend for a four-game set.
