Women’s Golf Shoots 30 Strokes Lower On Day Two at Bandon Dunes

Bellevue College women’s golf made the largest turnaround in the tournament from day one to day two, but fell short as the team finished fifth at the NWAACC League Match at Bandon Dunes GC. Sam Saleba shot 92-91 to lead the Bulldogs. Laurie Shank had the biggest improvement by shooting 132 on day one then shaved 23 strokes the following day by shooting 109. Meredith Johnson shot 106-100 to round out the scoring. Bellevue now prepares for the NWAACC Championships to be held Sunday and Monday May 18-19 at Horn Rapids GC in Richland, WA.
