Max Tuckner’s Rounds of 68-75 Lead Bellevue Men’s Golf to Fourth Place Finish at NWAACC Championships

In an NWAACC Championship that featured a loaded field of high level collegiate golfers, Bellevue’s men’s golf team finished fourth overall at the NWAACC Championships this week May 18-19 at Horn Rapids Golf Course in Richland, WA. Max Tuckner, who was the individual leader on day one after firing a 4-under par 68, finished second overall in the individual competition by shooting a two-day total of 144. Spokane, who won the team title, also had the individual champion in Brady Calkins, who was under par on both days shooting 69-69 for a two-day total of 138, besting Tucker by 6 strokes. Bellevue’s remaining three scores which comprised their team score along with Tucker was balanced as Tyler Betcher (79-75), Chad Hall (77-78), and Taylor Smith (79-80) rounded out the team scoring. Bellevue’s Greg Spencer shot 79-81 while Brandon Wong had rounds of 84-87 in the individual portion of the competition.
