Bellevue Men’s Tennis Drop League Opener at Spokane

Bellevue College’s men’s tennis lost their league opener by a narrow margin, 5-4, as the teams opened up NWAC league play on Thursday April 3 at Spokane.

Shinya Maruyama won #2 singles by scores of 7-6 (7-4), and 6-0. Two of Bellevue’s singles losses came in three sets, as Adam Owen lost narrowly 1-6, 6-3, and 6-4 in the #4 singles and TJ Bayna lost 5-7, 6-3, 6-3 in #5 singles.

Bellevue’s won two of the three doubles matches but was not enough for the win.
