Lindsey Gullikson Wins Olympic Invitational By 16 Strokes

Bellevue’s Lindsey Gullikson dominated the field by winning the individual title of the spring season-opening Olympic Invitational by 16 strokes. The tourney was held Thursday and Friday, April 2 and 3, at the Olympic Course at Gold Mountain in Gorst, WA.  Gullikson shot a two day total of 154, shooting 79-75.

Leading by six strokes after day one, Gullikson extended it by outshooting her nearest competitor 75-85 on Friday. Gullikson played solo for BC in the tourney as other women’s golf team members could not participate due to other commitments.  The Bellevue women’s team will compete for the first time this spring at the league match hosted by North Idaho College at Avondale GC on April 19 and 20.
