Bellevue Women’s Golf Wins Team Title By 55 Strokes

Bellevue women’s golf continued its dominance of the NWAC by winning the NWAC League Match held at Avondale GC by 55 strokes. The two-day event, held on Sunday, April 19 and Monday, April 20, featured all of the NWAC teams. Bellevue defeated SW Oregon for the title. The Bellevue women shot 241 on day one then 245 on day two. Spokane was the nearest competitor on day two shooting 263. Lindsey Gullikson shot 77 on day one and was medalist after the first day but shot 81 on day two and finished second overall in the individual portion. Kendra Meeker shot 79 on day two as did Gullikson, to finish third overall, right behind Gullikson. Meg McMullen shot 83-87 for a two-day total of 170 to finish sixth. Sam Saleba shot 90-88 while Dana Fox shot 89-103 to round out Bellevue’s scoring.

Bellevue will travel to Yakima for the next NWAC League Match at Apple Tree GC on Sunday, April 26 and Monday, April 27.
