Bellevue Women’s Soccer Make it Eight Wins in a Row With Victory Over Tacoma

Bellevue College women’s soccer won their eighth consecutive game with a hard fought 3-2 win over Tacoma on Saturday October 24.

Tacoma took an early lead, but the Bulldogs fought back in the first half with two goals from Taylor Weins. The second goal was an outstanding strike from 25 yards into the top left corner. Emma Faust made it 3-1 early in the second half. It was Foust’s first goal of the season after another impressive midfield display. Weins provided the assist.Tacoma came back with a second goal to make it a close finish, but Bellevue held on thanks to a fine one-on-one save from goalkeeper Catie Getzendaner late in the game.

The win capped off a fine week for the Bulldogs and extended their season record to 9-1-0.
