If the Bellevue College Bulldogs men’s basketball team could shoot the way they did in the second half against visiting Yakima Valley for the rest of the season, they would likely be unstoppable. The Bulldogs shot an electric 22-of-31 from the field, outscoring Yakima Valley 59-34 in the second half to win 90-68. The win was revenge for the Bulldogs, who lost two weeks ago to the very same Yakima squad at the Yakima Valley Crossover Tourney.

After a relatively even first half, with Yakima Valley leading 34-31, Bellevue came out on fire as Yonathan Michael poured in 28 points. He was 11-for-13 from the field including 4-of-5 from three point range. Brian Zehr and Calvin Dennis had 14 and 13 points respectively and had 8 rebounds apiece.

The Bulldogs have their final tune-up before league play starts tomorrow night at Highline. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
