Hot hands were all over the floor tonight as Bellevue College men’s basketball won their first league game with a 112-100 win over visiting Everett tonight. The Bulldogs were electric from the field, sinking 60% of their shots. Even more impressive was the fact that several players were on fire, as three Bulldogs scored over 20 points (Yonathan Michael, 27), (Jordan Muir-Kueng, 25, Quentin Moore, 22).  Big man Calvin Dennis had 15 points and led BC with 11 rebounds also.

The difference tonight was the way the Bulldogs started; the squad jumped out early and established a double-digit lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The team’s last win, which was back on January 4 over Highline, was a come-from-behind win as was their victory the night before over Yakima Valley.

The Bulldogs are now 1-6 in North Region play and 10-12 overall. They host Shoreline this Saturday February 6 at 6:00 p.m. The game will be televised on channel 28.
