Women’s Golf Wins NWAC Match in Yakima

Bellevue College women’s golf won in commanding fashion at the NWAC League Match, winning by a 24 stroke margin over runner-up North Idaho College. The two-day event, held Sunday April 17-Monday April 18 at Apple Tree GC in Yakima, was held under pristine conditions as BC’s Sadie Tallman was second overall with scores of 79-78. Kendra Meeker finished third overall right behind Tallman shooting 82-82. Meg McMullen shot 84-87 to finish seventh overall. The second, third, and seventh overall individual placings were out of a field of 50 total golfers at the event.

Bellevue is in first place overall in NWAC standings over North Idaho College.

The Bulldogs’ next match is another league match April 24-25 at Riverside GC in Chehalis, hosted by Centralia College.
