BC Men’s Tennis Win NWAC Opener Over Skagit Valley

After a narrow non-league loss on February 15 to the University of Puget Sound, Bellevue College men’s tennis showed they are well prepared for NWAC contenders by easily handling Skagit Valley 9-0 in the NWAC opener for both squads on Friday March 10. Newcomer Edgar Quintero Delgado won #1 singles 6-1, 6-1. All BC players 1-4 won in straight sets. Only Bellevue’s #5 singles Shu Chatani had to go an extra set to win the point for the Bulldogs. Bellevue’s next match is Sunday March 18 at 9:00 a.m. vs. Treasure Valley at Robinswood Tennis Center.
