After getting rained out on Friday April 14 against Pierce, Bellevue College softball continued their travels south to Bremerton to face Olympic College on Saturday April 15. Olympic defeated Bellevue behind some timely hitting by putting up four runs in the sixth inning to win 8-4. Unlike most games the Bulldogs have played, the offense was unable to produce the ‘big inning’ as Bellevue could not get to OC starter Nicole Jacobsen.  Bellevue put up two in the sixth to tie the game before OC would rally. Justi Johnson clubbed her sixth home run and went 2-for-4 to lead Bellevue. No details were reported on the second game.

Bellevue faces North Region rival Douglas, tomorrow Tuesday April 18 in Canada, weather permitting. First pitch is slated for 1:00 p.m.
