REID NAMED TO ALL-NWAACC FIRST TEAM
Throughout the 2008 season, Bulldog pitcher Brad Reid made his case as one of the top arms in the Pacific Northwest. His efforts paid off to the tune of a 7-1 record and an astounding 0.56 ERA over 59 innings of work, earning him the distinction of being named to the All-NWAACC first team. Reid was also a First Team All-Region selection from the NWAACC's Northern Region. The awards were old hand for Reid, who received First Team All Region and All NWAACC honors in 2007 as well, and recorded the save in the final game of the season to lock down the NWAACC Championship. Reid was a leader on a Bulldogs team that, in spite of up and down play, were contenders to return to the post season until the final serieis of the season, when they were passed by Skagit Valley College, and missed out on a return to the playoffs. Edmonds Community College, who supplanted BCC this year as Northern Region Champions, went on to win the NWAACC Tournament Championship. |
