MONAGLE SIGNS WITH MONTANA TECH
“I chose Montana Tech because the academics were outstanding, the majors offered were exactly what I was looking for, and the placement for post graduation jobs is amazing,” said Monagle. “As well as academics, the basketball program is excellent. Coach Larson and the team are ready to become contenders in the Frontier Conference, and I want to be a part of that." Monagle, a native of Port Orchard, was a major contributor in his two seasons at Bellevue. As a freshman in 2006-07 he averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds coming off the bench, and was part of a team which put together a 28-4 season, advancing to the NWAACC Championship game. He stepped up his production in his sophomore season, averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 60 percent from the field in leading Bellevue to a 22-10 season and a seventh place finish at the NWAACC Championships. In two years as a Bulldog, he won an eye-popping 50 games. "All of us here are extremely excited for Josh" said BCC head coach Jeremy Eggers. "He has been an invaluable part of our success for the past two years, and his personality, humor, and good nature will be missed just as much as his presence on the basketball court. We are looking forward to following his progress at the next level, and wish him nothing but the best."
