BC Men’s Basketball Wins Walla Walla Crossover
The Bulldogs men's basketball won the Walla Walla Crossover with a convincing 82-69 win over the host team Walla Walla CC on Sunday December 22. Reggie Clinton scored 18 points while Darien Muongvang put in 16 points and also had 17 rebounds. Anthony McLaughlin also scored 18 points along with 12 rebounds.
In the earlier round games, on Friday December 20, Bellevue topped Linn-Benton 82-71 after jumping out early with a commanding 47-29 lead at the break. Austin O'Keefe and Dominique Jordan scored 20 and 15 points respectively for Bellevue. On Saturday December 21 in the semi-final game, Bellevue defeated a very solid Highline club by a score of 69-59. O'Keefe went off scoring 28 points to lead the Bulldogs over the fourth-ranked Thunderbirds.
O'Keefe and Jordan were both named to the All-Tournament Team while O'Keefe picked up MVP honors. Bellevue will take on the Washington Athletic Club on Saturday December 28 in their final pre-season game before opening league play on January 4.
