Background:
A graduate of Chief Sealth high school in Seattle, Ashanii comes from a successful program that saw her win two state championships during her tenure. Ashanii was named most improved and most inspirational and will bring the same dedication and attitude to BCC.

Other then two state championships, Ashanii’s favorite moment was when she scored a career high 33 points in a game.

Off the court Ashanii’s favorite athletes are Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley and her favorite movie is Coach Carter. After basketball she plans to attend law school and pursue a legal career.
