Background: hit .247 as part-time starter in outfield…made transition to first base in middle of year…played last summer in West Coast Collegiate League…Played for Tahoma High School under Coach Russ Hayden…two-year letter-winner…2012 Seattle Times Athlete of the Week, SPSL 4A North League MVP, and Tacoma News Tribune All-Area Team…was named First Team All-State by the Washington State Baseball Coaches Association along with current teammates Brandon Mahovlich, Alex Hatch, Aaron Stroosma, Nick Pribble, Noel Gonzalez, and Kurt Lindemann….posted a .462 batting average with 6 home runs and 36 RBI…helped lead the Bears to the final eight in the 4A state tournament…played summer baseball for Boys of Summer under Coach Mike McCain.

Personal: Born February 28, 1994…son of John and Pam Bodenhamer…one sister Megan…Father John played golf at Brigham Young University…interested in studying political science…enjoys watching movies, hiking, and hanging out with friends…chose Bellevue because of the well-respected baseball program and the positive feedback he received from coaches and past players…one of the highest GPA’s on the team this season.
