Associate in Arts & Sciences - Computer Science

Students wishing to transfer to a computer science program within the state of Washington can fulfill the prerequisites for the various computer science bachelor degree programs within the Associate in Arts and Sciences Direct Transfer Degree Agreement (AAS-DTA). Since prerequisite requirements vary from one program to the next, it is very important that students meet with an advisor to make sure they are on the right track for their specific institution.

Through the Direct Transfer Agreement (DTA), BCC students may earn an Associate in Arts & Sciences degree (referred to as AAS-DTA) which leads to the transfer to a participating college or university as a computer science major.

The AAS-DTA includes the specialized program in Computing and Software Systems offered at University of Washington, Bothell and Tacoma campuses.
