Supply list

  • Artgraf water-soluble Graphite sticks,  pkg of 2
  • Set of soft pastels, sticks (ie., Alphacolor, Faber-Castell)
  • Generals Jumbo Compressed charcoal sticks,  6B or pkg of 2B-6B
  • ArtGraf water-soluble carbon (square) disc
  • Thick willow, and vine charcoal, 3 sticks each
  • White plastic eraser
  • Gray kneaded eraser
  • Egbert  brush, large, #12, #16 or 18 (size varies with brand)
  • Large Sumi brush
  • Liquid black Sumi ink (ie., Yasutomo)
  • masking tape (no colored tape) or artists tape
  • Strathmore 400 Drawing paper 100 lb., 36”x10 yds.  or 42 “ x 10 yds.
  • drop cloth about 9×12’
  • several cotton rags
  • sponge “brushes”—1”, 2”, 3”
  • “white china” bristle brushes (aka, “chip” brushes)–1”, 2”, 3”
  • exacto knife or scissors, and ruler
  • optional: Workable fixative
