Approved by the National Healthcareer Association, the Medical Administrative Assistant program prepares students to earn the Certified Medical Administrative ASsistant (CMAA) credential after graduation. Topics studied include Microsoft Word and Excel basics, healthcare documentation and reimbursement, medical terminology, basic anatomy, practice finances, and standard office procedures, among others. In addition to one-on-one instructor support and personalized graduate support, students receive twelve textbooks.
