TELOS - "Ideas Worth Spreading"

A review of some of the immensely popular “Ideas Worth Spreading” presented in TED Talks*. Eight class sessions, each offering an opportunity to watch multiple twenty minute (or less) presentations from the amazing TED Conferences and then engage in a lively discussion of the ideas that were presented. This term will provide access to new presentations never included in past “Ideas Worth Spreading” classes. These presentations will introduce students to the wide cross-section of interesting people representing many different disciplines that have offered thought-provoking dialog for our consideration through this marvelous program.
*TED conferences bring together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives. TED believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world.

Sue Black
Sue will use skills from more than thirty years of facilitating group discussions for marketing and opinion research investigations to make these class sessions both interesting and enjoyable.
