Discover your inner artist with this fun and creative class designed for the beginning water-colorist. We will start the course by learning the basic watercolor washes, and advance into complete paintings. Focusing on the fundamentals of painting, we will go over important aspects such as value and contrast. Not only will we paint still life objects but we will also work with less structured, creative pieces. All levels of artistry are welcomed! Cost of supplies included. You may bring any personal tools or paint you prefer to use.
Jenna's grandmother was a professional painter with a talent for realism and oil paint, which first influenced Jenna's own creativity. She has always had a drive for painting, creating and instructing, and to encourage others to do the same. She has had the opportunity to show artworks throughout Washington, as well as painting live at events in Pike Place and other areas of Seattle. As a freelance artist, she paints mostly with watercolor, ink and acrylic. But also enjoys the use of pen and pencil to create realism portraits. Her focus on art has always been realism, making art not only fun and creative but realistic.
