Discover your inner artist with this fun and creative class designed for the beginning water-colorist. We will start the course by learning the basic watercolor washes, and advance into complete paintings. Focusing on the fundamentals of painting, we will go over important aspects such as value and contrast. Not only will we paint still life objects but we will also work with less structured, creative pieces. All levels of artistry are welcomed! Course fee includes class materials. You may bring any personal tools or paint you prefer to use. Jenna Roby is a self-taught artist who is pursuing the eccentric life of an artist. Her grandmother, a professional painter with a talent for realism and oil paint, first influenced her to begin drawing as a hobby, which progressed into a full on lifestyle. Jenna paints with watercolor, oil, and spray paint, and creates realism portraits in pencil or pen. As an airbrush artist at a custom motorcycle shop, she began working on bikes and helmets to produce creative, realistic designs. Today she is a local Seattle freelance artist and hairstylist with a love of tea and large dogs.
