Explore the basics of developing for Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod) using the latest tools. Leverage the Swift programming language and the latest iOS SDK to create stunning apps that animate, respond to touch, motion, and utilize device hardware. Develop on the Mac with Xcode and the iOS Simulator. Use Auto Layout and Size Classes to support multiple screen sizes. Use iOS design patterns such as Model-View-Controller (MVC) and delegation to architect your own app, and, ultimately, learn how to submit your app to the App Store. (This course includes an Apple educational developer license so you can install to a physical device. Bring your own iOS device if you have one.)
Prerequisites: Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (C, C++, C#, or Java Programming) and basic familiarity with Mac.
