Graphic Design Certificate Program: Overview

The Graphic Design program is separated into three levels of classes that build on each other:

  • Level 1: Concepts and foundations of a career in graphic design.
  • Level 2: Hands-on skills with graphic design tools.
  • Level 3: Application of concepts and skills toward portfolio-ready graphic design pieces. Students develop portfolio pieces in Level 3.

Level 1 and 2 classes can be taken simultaneously and in any order.

Level 3 classes are to be taken after successful completion of Level 1 and 2 classes.

Graphic Design Certificate Capstone may be taken, with program approval, after all required core and elective courses are completed.
