    Digital Analytics Certificate (Just Starting)

    Certificate Description:

    The Digital Analytics certificate program teaches you how to create and manage a digital analytics, optimize the effectiveness of site content, customer support initiatives, and the usability of the interface and navigational structure.

    This certificate program focuses on how to analyze and understand the data generated by digital analytics reporting tools, to make suggestions for improvements to the reports generated, and to transform the information contained in these reports into actions the company can take to improve website visitor centricity and profitability.


    Fall Qtr Classes:

    Digital (Web) Analytics

    Use proven methods to evaluate the success of your website and identify its strengths and weaknesses. Apply relevant data to streamline your site to create a better user experience. Learn to measure KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) such as defining customer intent, completion rates, visitor trends, and page views. Prerequisite: HTML: Level 1 or equivalent.


    Mobile Application Developer Certificate

    Certificate Description:

    The Mobile App Developer Program takes a unique approach in a fast-growing field. Students bring their own project to the program and work with industry-expert faculty members who also act as mentors. The Mentors help students get the most out of their idea and prepare it for production or for demo to our Advisory Board members, some of whom represent mobile businesses and venture capital firms. Courses meet in-person and online allowing students to work on their projects with their instructor using classroom and online collaboration tools. The entire certificate can be completed in about six months, and includes programming instruction in both Android and iOS platforms.

    iOS Development: I

    Explore the basics of developing for iOS devices(iPhone, iPad, iPod) using the latest iOS SDK and Objective-C.  Topics covered include iPhone SDK basics, Objective-C syntax, iOS design patterns and creating apps that respond to touch, have common navigation models, use the device sensors and use the camera features.  Prerequisite: Familiarity with an object-oriented language (C, C++, C#, or Java Programming). Bring a mobile MAC device and get a developer license


    UX/UI Designer Certificate

    Our UI/UX Design certificate program will set you on the path to becoming a skilled and marketable UI/UX (user interface/user experience) designer. UI/UX is critical to the success of any website or mobile app and, in today’s environment, often the key competitive advantage. As such, people with these skills are in high demand in a rapidly growing industry.


    Fall Qtr Classes:

    User Experience Design Principles

    This project-based class simulates the work of the design team in implementing user experience design principles when planning a website. Topics: incorporating business and marketing goals while catering to the user, improving the usability of the site and its acceptance by customers and creating design documents using detailed procedures and guidelines. Students will create user personas and scenarios; site organization and task flows; storyboards, wireframes and prototypes; and usability tests.

    Prezi Presentations

    Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software and storytelling tool for presenting ideas on a virtual canvas. You can collaborate on


    presentations with multiple users who have the ability to edit the same presentation.  Topics: using templates, importing charts and graphics; pan

    and zoom, size, rotate, or edit an object; navigate between videos, images, texts and other presentation media.

    Writing a Winning Proposal

    This course provides a general introduction to the exciting world of proposal management. Whether it is a government proposal, a grant proposal, or an internal proposal within a company, all proposals share many similarities. Students learn the basics of successful proposal writing. Also, students learn how to be a proposal manager—including how to analyze an RFP, organize the proposal documentation, manage the proposal team and schedule, and write the executive summary.
