How do I qualify?

The CEO Program is an Open Doors Youth Reengagement Program. Individuals must meet the following qualifications in order to be considered for entry into the CEO program:

  • Age 16-21 years old
    • Students must be 16 years old by September 1st to join during the academic year. Students who turn 21 by September 1st will be ineligible, but if they turn 21 years old on September 2nd or later then they can join during that academic year. No exceptions.
  • Not currently enrolled in high school
    • Students cannot be active in public high school, private school, or homeschool. No exceptions. This is not a dual-enrollment program.
  • No high school diploma or college certificate or degree (students with a GED and no additional training may still qualify for the program)
  • Must live in a school district we serve
  • Must be motivated to succeed and committed to their education

*For students who do not reside in the Bellevue School District, they must reside in one of these school districts (listed below) in order to qualify:

  • Arlington School District
  • Auburn School District
  • Cle Elum-Roslyn School District
  • Coupeville School District
  • Edmonds School District
  • Everett School District
  • Federal Way
  • Highline School District
  • Issaquah School District
  • Kent School District
  • Lake Stevens School District
  • Lake Washington School District
  • Marysville School District
  • Mercer Island School District
  • Monroe School District
  • Mukilteo School District
  • North Kitsap School District
  • Northshore School District
  • Renton School District
  • Riverview School District
  • Seattle Public Schools
  • Shoreline School District
  • Snohomish School District
  • Snoqualmie Valley School District
  • Sultan School District
  • Tahoma School District

For these students, they must take the Variance Form to the school district office in which they reside.

  • Tuition and fees
  • Books
  • Bus passes
  • Career exploration
  • Academic Advising
  • Education and training towards a certificate or transfer degree at Bellevue College

The CEO Program Does Not Pay For:

Housing (Dorms/Rent)

Parking Permits (Parking is enforced 24/7 on campus)

Parking Fines

Library/Media Center Fines

NOTE: Students enrolled in the CEO Program are ineligible for financial aid funds. Students are funded by the state and this conflicts with financial aid. Students wishing to receive financial aid funds must exit the program.
