IMAGE 115 Radiologic Anatomy • 2 Cr.

Presents a basic survey of human anatomy commonly imaged in a diagnostic radiology department. Emphasis is on major structures and topographical anatomy. Prerequisite: Placement by assessment into ENGL& 101 or ENGL 092 or 093 with a C- or better.


After completing this class, students should be able to:

  • Describe and identify common patient positioning using the appropriate terminology.
  • Describe and identify pertinent topographical anatomy used in radiology.
  • Describe by relative position and identify on an image pertinent anatomy in the following areas: thorax, abdomen, spine, pelvis, cranium, and extremities.
