Beth Luzzi



Beth Luzzi received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University in 2009 and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington state. She also holds a BA in History and Secondary Education from Muhlenberg College and has over 10 years of instructional experience, teaching at both the secondary and post secondary levels. After receiving tenure at Bellevue College in 2014, Beth took a brief hiatus to serve as the Interim Director of the Counseling and Resource Center at Edmonds Community College. During this time she also earned her Certified Personal Trainer credential through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Beth currently provides mental health and career counseling to registered students as well as teaches a number of Human Development courses at Bellevue College including Learning Strategies for Student Success, Living with Loss and Grief, Motivation and Empowerment, and First Year Experience. Beth’s theoretical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and she infuses physical wellness concepts into her counseling practices whenever possible. Beth currently resides in Seattle and when she isn’t at Bellevue College she can usually be found running, weightlifting, or falling off of her paddleboard.
