Beth holds a BA in History and Secondary Education from Muhlenberg College. After teaching 10th grade American history for two years she found an interest in helping students on a more personal level. She moved to Seattle, WA to pursue her Masters degree in counseling at Seattle University and currently holds a MA Ed. in Counseling with a Post-Secondary Specialization. She is also a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington. Beth currently teaches a number of Human Development courses at Bellevue College including Learning Strategies for Student Success, Living with Loss and Grief, Motivation and Empowerment, International Student FYE, and she also presents study skills workshops for the counseling center and teaches FYE for incoming BC students. Beth is passionate about helping people. She believes in advocating for all individuals and values the differences in people. When not at BC she can usually be found running, lifting, or partaking in a little Crossfit.
