Gaelyn Henkel (Extended leave for 2014/2015)
Gaelyn has been working at BC since 2006. She is actually a former graduate of BC, transferring to WWU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. She continued her education at Mars Hill Graduate School where she completed her Master’s degree in Counseling. She teaches a variety of human development classes, FYE, and study skills workshops. Apart from working with probationary students and providing counseling to individual BC students, Gaelyn also provides couples counseling for students who are struggling in their relationships. What she loves most about her job is the privilege of walking alongside students in one of the most exciting (and scary) times of their lives. When she is not counseling or teaching, she enjoys a good jam session, gardening, or hiking with her pooch.
