Seeking Qualified Distance Instructors

Bellevue Community College is committed to increasing cultural diversity among its professional staff. Applicants with multicultural experience and/or backgrounds that will add cultural richness and diversity to Bellevue Community College are encouraged to apply.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Bellevue Community College (BCC) is seeking qualified instructors to teach in its extensive Distance Education Program. At BCC, credit-bearing distance courses cover the same materials and fulfill the same outcomes as their on-campus counterparts.

Adjunct (part-time) faculty are hired by academic or technical department chairs according to the specific requirements of their department and division. In most cases, the minimum qualification for teaching at BCC is a Masters or equivalent degree in the relevant field from an accredited institution.

All credit distance courses at BCC are taught on WebCT's Vista course management platform. Successful applicants will teach sections of developed courses or, in some cases, may develop or collaborate in the development of new courses.

If you are qualified academically and have experience teaching on WebCT, Blackboard, or a course management system of comparable complexity, please e-mail your curriculum vita to:

Liz Anderson,
Director of Distance Education
landerso@bcc.ctc.edu

You may be contacted by department staff for telephone or other forms of interview.

Full-time, tenure-track teaching positions are also available from time to time. For notification of such openings, consult the joblist page.
