Testing Services

The Office of Testing Services is committed to providing a variety of testing services to new and continuing students, as well as the community, in support of their educational development and college success while maintaining an optimum, standardized testing environment.  Below are the services we currently provide.

Attention students: ACT COMPASS is now working properly. We are now able to administrate the COMPASS English and math test. We have drop-in testing hours today, Thursday, July 31st from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.

 

**For all tests, you MUST have a valid photo identification when you check in. You will not be allowed to test without proper photo ID.

COMPASS English and Math Test

The COMPASS English and math test required for all first time college students and for transfer students who have not previously taken college English or math courses.

Transferring Test Scores

Transfer COMPASS scores from a different college or request for Placement Reciprocity. BC can also transfer your COMPASS scores to other colleges.

Chemistry Placement Exam

The Chemistry Placement Exam to receive placement into Chemistry 161.

COMPASS e-Write

The COMPASS e-Write test which is required for admission to the Nursing Program and the Neurodiagnostic Technologist (NDT) program.

English Challenge Test

Take the English Challenge Test if you want to challenge your COMPASS English placement.

GED Testing

Get your general education equivalency to earn your diploma—find out about GED preparation and testing.

Make-Up Exams for Online BC Courses

Can't make it to a scheduled exam in class for your online course? Find out how to schedule a make up test at Testing Services.

TEAS Testing

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) which is required for admission to the BC Nursing Program as well as other colleges through the state.

Transfer Prerequisites
