The matsuri includes two full days of performing arts, martial arts demonstrations, puppet shows, tea ceremony demonstration, more than 75 exhibit booths, Japanese food boths, and workshops on bonsai and taiko.

If you'd like to volunteer at this year's Aki Matsuri, contact the Volunteer Recruiting Coordinator at anne.stewart@bellevuecollege.edu. Last year we had 300+ volunteers and we're now recruiting volunteers for this year. Hope you can join us for this festive occasion. It's free! Parking is also free.

The mother/daughter couple have written a book called "perfect chaos" and will talk about what it is like to live in society as a bipolar individual, and what hardships and discrimination are faced.
