Lockwood Distinguished Faculty Award Nominations Deadline
As the end of September approaches, we wanted to send a final reminder to nominate someone or submit an application for yourself for the Lockwood Distinguished Faculty Award. The Lockwood Awards for BC’s 50th Anniversary consists of eight awards of $5,000 each made to exceptional full-time or part-time faculty during the ramp- up to the culmination of the 50th Anniversary celebrations. Nominations and/or applications can be made until Friday, Sept. 30.
Awards will be made monthly beginning in October 2016 through January 2017 – two awards of $5,000 each will be announced each month.
Nomination and/or application process:
Submit a 200 min – 500 max word statement
Can either be a nomination or application

PrepareAthon! is a national event hosted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency that campaigns for action to increase community preparedness and resilience. Bellevue College has chosen to participate in PrepareAthon! to provide students and staff with fun ways to start thinking about disaster preparedness.
Activities will include: Scavenger Hunt, Fire Extinguisher Training, Games, Competitions, Free Gifts, Raffles, and More!
