Wednesday, May 28, 2014 featured a foundry pour with Art faculty Ross Brown. This is always an exciting event for artists and audience alike — with whoosh and roar of the furnace, crackle of hot metal meeting plaster investments, and the whack as investments are broken open. A testament to the many steps and hours of hard work involved in transforming ideas into a work of art!
Work was from students in Ross’s 3D and Sculpture classes, who had prepared the investment molds for their pieces.
