Healthcare Management Application Instructions

New Students

Admission to the program is competitive. Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, as the number of qualified applicants may exceed the number of available enrollment spaces. New students are only accepted twice a year for Fall and Spring quarter admission.

Applications for Fall quarter admission will be accepted between June 1st and August 1st.

Applications for Spring quarter admission will be accepted between February 1st and March 1st.


Spring 2016 Application deadline is Tuesday, March 1st, 2016.

  1. Apply for general admission to Bellevue College and pay the $34.00 non-refundable admission fee. (Students who are returning to Bellevue after 4 or more quarters will need to re-apply for general admission)
  2. Create a Bellevue College Application Account. Click here. If you applied to Bellevue College previously you may have already created a username and password. You can request to have the username sent to you or reset the password if you don’t remember it.
  3. Complete the HCTM online application at using the username and password you set up for your Bellevue College Application Account.
  4. Pay the $125.00 non-refundable application fee (Online applications will not be considered complete until fee has been paid).
    • Be sure to select the correct option:
      “Bachelor of Applied Science in Healthcare Technology & Management – Healthcare Management”
  5. Submit the following documents by mail:
    • Official, sealed transcripts from regionally accredited college(s) demonstrating completion of all prerequisite courses with a GPA of 2.0 or above. If you completed courses at Bellevue College an unofficial transcript is sufficient.
    • Two letters of recommendation, on company letterhead, from someone who personally knows your work, such as your current or past supervisor, discussing your contributions to your work place and how he or she believes you will benefit from completion of the BAS program. If you are applying for this program immediately after completing an associate degree program, the letters of recommendation may be from your instructors on college letterhead.

For those students who were previously accepted into the BAS in Healthcare Technology and Management but were unable to continue in the program there is a separate application process for readmission.

  1. Complete a Request for Readmission/Reinstatement Application. Applications must be received no later than 30 days prior to the next available program start.
  2. Return completed application to:
