Associate in Arts Interior Studies

This two-year, 95 credit AA degree offers a professionally relevant curriculum that helps students build skills for Interior Design paraprofessional positions. The program includes core courses in art and Interior Design that teach foundation skills in both manual and computer-aided graphics along with exposure to design studio processes and methodologies. Other courses help the student to strengthen visual, oral, and written communication skills. Students who successfully complete the Associate in Arts degree in Interior Studies will be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design program.

AA Qualifications

There are no formal requirements for the Associate in Arts in interior studies degree program, The Associate in Arts in interior studies degree program has an “open door” non-competitive policy. Many Interior Design classes require prerequisites, and students must meet these requirements in order to register. Review the class schedules to identify any special requirements for specific class enrollments.
