Admission
Important Pre-Departure Advice:
Useful documents to bring with you:
If you are applying to BCC from overseas, you must apply as a full-time student. Upon acceptance, a properly processed I-20 form will be sent to you. An I-20 form is one of the most important documents you must submit to the U.S. embassy or consulate when you apply for a student visa (F-1). Current U.S. immigration regulations allow a student to apply for a visa maximum of 90 days before the admitted quarter date (indicated on Section 5 on the I-20 form).
- Official transcripts, with official English translations, from your high school, colleges, or universities and course descriptions in English. Official transcript means a transcript in a "sealed" envelope from the school.
- Medical, dental and immunization records - if you had medical problems in the past or have allergic reactions to something, you should ask your physician in your country to write them down about your conditions in English.
- An extra pair of eye-glasses or contact lens and prescription.
- Birth certificates for your children in English.
- Marriage certificate in English.
