We are working on some new features- hopefully these will be in place in the next 2 to 3 weeks! Here are some highlights:
WordPress Update to 3.9
We will be updating WordPress to the most recent version (nickname ‘Smith‘), just released yesterday! This new version of WordPress brings some exciting new features, including image resizing within the visual editor, widget previews, and more! As soon as we re-work our Mayflower theme to fully support these new features, we will be making this update.

Improvements to our Mayflower theme
We are planning to release version 1.6 of our Mayflower theme concurrent with the update to WordPress 3.9 (hopefully in a few weeks). We are working on rolling out the following:
- Compatibility with WordPress 3.9
- Condensed version of our Staff page in Mayflower- right now our system doesn’t work well for departments with large numbers of staff. We are working to give you some options on how staff are displayed, so that staff can be displayed attractively, whether your department or division has two employees or a hundred.
- Allow for custom ‘Submit’ button in Gravity Forms
- Improvements in Security and Standards Compliance
Authenticated Forms Updates
We are working on a system that will allow students and employees to log in, verifying their identity before filling out a form. This will allow our employees to take action on the information they receive. This functionality is being rolled out in ‘beta’ form, but more improvements are in the works!
