POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position reports to the Director of Campus Operations and has responsibility for 24-hour coverage of campus security, emergency preparedness, safety operations, college traffic and parking, crime prevention, security/safety training, alarm/security systems, and assuring compliance with current laws and regulations as they pertain to the functions and activities of the campus Public Safety Department. The Director of Public Safety is responsible for campus safety and security and acts as campus safety officer. Provide leadership and direction for the public safety department in its day to day operations. Oversee the recruitment, selection, training, supervision, evaluation of the assistant public safety director, officers and office staff supporting the public safety department, act as liaison between the college and other public entities, manages the department budget and serves on the campus safety committee and others as needed.

SALARY: The salary range is $59,277 - $71,133 with placement based on education and related experience.
