Position Summary:
The Manager Sleep Centers affords the opportunity to manage the operation of a multi-location AASM accredited sleep center with efficiency, provide appropriate environment of care, and workplace safety for patients and staff.  Contribute to the success of Neuroscience Careline in MultiCare Health System in the State of Washington with a focus on effective communication, quality customer service, and evidence-based practice with sound financial management.  You will be the technical content expert in contemporary polysomnography.

You will lead 40 employees, with the help of a Supervisor, and work with 13 adult and pediatric sleep specialists across MultiCare, as well as keep up with the technology growth of the Sleep field.   Provide cohesive system-wide staff communication and be the front line expert.  We have a high growth MultiCare Sleep Program consisting of 4 Sleep Centers with 22 beds total, and 5 sites of Home Sleep Tests (HST) located in Pierce and South King Counties of WA State.

Minimum Requirements:
Three years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
8 -yr recent clinical experience in Polysomnography or equivalent required

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree, Business or affiliated field required
Graduate of an accredited School of Polysomnography preferred
Master’s degree preferred
Current BRPT Registry Certification required
REEGTregistry preferred
Current BLS Certification required

immediate opening for a full time EEG Technologist in our hospital based EEG department.  It is a department of one (1) with two on-call EEG Technicians supporting.  Will need the following experience:

  • In-patient, out-patient, ICU, and Neonate EEGs.
  • Evoked Potential experience in Visual, Brainstem Auditory, and Median/Tibial Somatosensory testing.
  • Electrode application using the 10/20 system.

Self-motivated, able to work independently, overseeing the daily routine of an EEG lab, e.g. charging, billing, electrode cleaning and disinfection, infection control.  Must have excellent phone skills to facilitate scheduling outpatient testing.  Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word.  EEG laboratory utilizes Cadwell Evoked Potential and Natus – NeuroWorks equipment/software.
