We are a busy Neurodiagnostic lab performing EEG, EPs, & EMG/NCV. We have 12 Neurologists, with 2 dedicated Epileptologists and a NeuroInterventional Physician. We are currently doing Epilepsy Monitoring, Invasive Epilepsy Grid Monitoring, and seizure surgery. Our epilepsy monitoring has expanded and we have opened a four bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Having been recently certified as a Level 4 Epilepsy Center we are seeking registered neurodiagnostic techs to join our team.

Surgical Neuromonintoring PLLC – posted 4/4/14

Surgical Neuromonitoring, PLLC is seeking individuals to provide Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IOM). Neurophysiological monitoring can be an invaluable tool in certain types of neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT, and cardiovascular surgeries. It helps to reduce postoperative neurological deficits and avoid permanent nerve damage to patients. This position involves providing the technical component of intra-operative monitoring services (including somatosensory evoked potentials, motor evoked potentials, electromyography, brainstem auditory evoked potentials, etc.) to surgeons at hospitals in and around the Portland area. The position is full-time, salaried and offers health benefits, 401(k), and profit sharing. THE TRAINING WE PROVIDE LEADS TO NATIONAL CERTIFCATION IN INTRAOPERATIVE NEUROPHYSIOLOGIC MONITORING (CNIM) AND/OR DIPLOMATE TO THE AMERICAN BOARD OF INTRAOPERATIVE MONITORING (D-ABNM).

Requirements

Minimum of a BS in a science related field but an MS, DPT, AuD, or PhD is highly preferred. Some background in anatomy and physiology required. Candidates should have proven dependability, punctuality, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as the ability to interact and communicate IOM needs effectively with surgical team. Individuals applying must possess strong computer skills. No background in IOM is required. Candidates will be provided on the job training on their way to obtaining board certification.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must have an Associate’s degree, current BCLS certification, be a self- motivated team player, enjoy working with all age groups, and either have registration in EEG (R. EEG T.) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist (ABRET) or a willingness to pursue EEG registration.
