‘Exploring Pathways’ Help Students Choose Direction 

When students enroll at Bellevue College, one of first buzzwords they’ll hear is “pathways.” Whether it’s BC Pathways, Guided Pathways, or choosing a pathway, these terms are used to help students pick an academic program or career field so that they have the best chance of success when selecting their classes and investing in their future. 

Discovery Day is Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bellevue College's U-Building on campus. All are invited.

Celebrate Earth Month this April

Celebrate Earth Day all month long with Bellevue College’s Earth Month event series happening now through April 30. With a goal to reach carbon neutrality by 2050, the theme for Bellevue College’s 25th annual Earth Month is “Decarbonize.”

DECA team wins state competition, sights set on 10th national championship 

Bellevue College students won 19 individual first-place finishes, as well as the team title, at the collegiate DECA state competition last month. Next up? Nationals in April.

College Receives Conservation Grant | National Wildlife Federation

Bellevue College was among seven colleges and universities awarded grants ranging from $7,500 to $10,000 as part of the EcoLeaders® program funded by Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom’s College and University Grant Program. The grants will be used to conduct research, restore habitat and advance conservation education for threatened and endangered species within their communities.

New BAS in Radiation Therapy Coming Fall 2025

Bellevue College will begin offering a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Radiation Therapy in 2025 with applications opening at the end of 2024.

Dr. Jess Clark to Join College as New Provost

Dr. Jessica Clark has been named provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bellevue College. Prior to Clark’s hire, which will be effective May 1, 2024, she worked as an executive educational strategist and has served as the Vice President of the Instruction Office at Walla Walla Community College and Vice President of Learning and Student Services at Northland Pioneer College.

Bellevue College Foundation Raises $400,000 at Annual Gala

The Bellevue College Foundation hosted its most successful event to date, drawing a generous crowd and hitting a record-breaking milestone with nearly $400,000 in donations. Gala 2024, held on Saturday, March 9, was a celebration of community and collaboration, with the goal to significantly enhance the educational experiences of Bellevue College students for years to come.

More digits, less words. 
That’s what Bellevue College alum Mykhailo (Myke) Kuzomka initially thought when he decided to switch his academics to accounting. Instead of his initial program of choice that heavily relied on English—a language Kuzomka was and still is learning today—accounting provided him the opportunity to work with numerals and math.
