Bellevue College students to perform musical “Tomfoolery”

Three night run opens August 7, 2014

The Bellevue College Theatre Arts Department will present Tomfoolery, a musical revue of the witty, wicked, offbeat, and thoroughly twisted world of famed satirical songwriter Tom Lehrer. The hilarious review covers Lehrer’s satirical songs from the 1950s – 1960s.

Audiences will enjoy cake and Italian sodas served cabaret style while taking in such songs as Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, I Got it from Agnes, The Vatican Rag, The Masochism Tango, and We Will All Go Together When We Go.

WHAT: “Tomfoolery,” performed by BC students, produced by BC’s Department of Theatre Arts and directed by Tammis Doyle with musical direction by Andy Davison

WHO: Appropriate for adults and children 12 and older

WHEN: August 7 – 10 at 7:30 pm

WHERE: Stop Gap Studio Theatre in the Carlson Theater building (E Building) on the Bellevue College campus, 3000 Landerholm Circle SE.  Parking is free on the Bellevue College campus after 3 p.m.

COST: Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 students and BC Faculty and can be purchased through brownpapertickets.com. A limited number of leftover tickets may be available for sale beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the day of each show. Due to the nature of the show, there will be no late seating.
