Five BCC employees recognized for excellence

 

BELLEVUE, WASH.– The Bellevue Community College Foundation conferred Margin of Excellence Awards May 18 on five BCC faculty and staff members in recognition of their outstanding work in support of the college and its students.

 

Nominated by BCC students, faculty and staff, each received a $1,000 award from the Foundation.

 

Honorees are:

 

Julius Armstrong, of Bellevue, program chair and instructor for the college’s Radiation Therapy program.

Gwyneth Jones, of Bellevue, an instructor in the college’s Science Division.

Marika Reinke, of Seattle, an instructor in the college’s Business Technology Systems program.

Celinda Spaulding, of Kirkland, a program coordinator and advisor in the college’s Educational Planning Resource and Transfer Center.

Juan Ulloa, of Bothell, a web specialist.

The Bellevue Community College Foundation is a non-profit organization that receives and manages gifts from individuals and corporations on behalf of BCC. Since its inception in 1978, the BCC Foundation has raised more than $20 million on behalf of Bellevue Community College to support scholarships and program enhancements on campus.
